Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
