The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best vacuum plus mop robot robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best Automatic vacuum mop combo known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
