Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop

Narwal is a relative newcomer in the market for Best robot Wet mop vacuums. It's a sweeper/mopping hybrid that's quite impressive. However, it's expensive and is hampered by a clunky app with a steep curve.

Features

The Narwal T10 robot vacuum can clean and scrub hard floors. Its smart navigation and mapping system is based on simultaneous localization (SLAM) technologies. It also comes with anti-collision, cliff-sensing and anti-collision technologies that can to prevent the machine from falling down stairs or accidentally hitting furniture. It can also recognize and avoid rugs. This is a typical problem with many robot vacuums/mops/hybrids.

The robot is equipped with two large water tanks: one for clean and one for dirty. Before a mopping run it will automatically head to its base station and soaks its pads with clean water from the tank. During the mopping cycle, sensors alert you to when it's time for you to change out the pads and refill the water. It consumes 16 ounces of clean water, which is less than other comparable robots.

Once you've wiped the dirt off the mop pads, the T10 returns to its base station and auto-dries the pads to prevent cross-contamination. Then, it resumes the mopping task the same way it began. While it's a decent vacuum/mop set-up however, the Narwal T10 is pricier than most of its competition. Its base station is house to two 1.3 gallon tanks, which require frequent refills. This can be a hassle particularly if your robot has a tank that fills faster. The app is also a mess and a hassle and doesn't have the same features of customization you'd expect from a more expensive robot.
