The best robot vacuum & mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robot vacuum with laser mapping robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and mopping and vacuuming getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
