Based on the well-loved A06 Freedom Chair, this heavy duty model has been designed to be able to accommodate people of up to 25 stones/160kgs. The chair is equipped with twin 300 watt motors that can push you forward at speeds up to 4mph with a range of up to 9 miles from just one battery (a second battery is also available).

When not in use, it is lightweight and compact. It is easy to move and electric wheelchair 25 stone to store. It also comes with an airline-approved lithium-ion battery as well as an adaptor for off-board charge.

A08L is the larger version of our best selling A06 Electric Wheelchair 25 Stone wheelchair. It is equipped with two main distinctions in terms of the size of the rear drive wheels and the strength of the motors that drive them. This more powerful configuration means that the powerchair is able to support the maximum weight of 25 stone (160kg). It also achieves the top speed of 6.5 km/h (4 mph). The PU tyres on this model are larger which makes it better suited for rougher terrains. The control system utilizes electromagnetic braking to make it very easy to stop and slow down.

This model isn't just very functional, but also very easy-to-use and fold. This makes it ideal for those who travel regularly with their electric wheelchairs as it is able to be folded to the smallest dimensions and then wheeled away using the back rest as handles. The anti-tip wheels make it easier to maneuver, and the powerchair can be easily tucked away in the boot or on the hold of a vehicle.

When open the powerchair is large enough to accommodate a maximum user weight of 25 stone and includes a seat of 17" wide and 17" deep for comfort and stability. The powerchair comes with a variety of interchangeable positioning and support options that can be tailored according to individual needs. The components are constructed out of sturdy materials and are constructed from high quality materials.

Like our other models, this powerchair can be used indoors and out and is controlled by a joystick for easy movement. The front wheels measure large 12.5 inches in diameter. the rear ones have suspension to improve ride comfort on surfaces that are less smooth. One battery is supplied with this model, however an additional and third battery can be added to provide a range of 18 miles or 27 miles, respectively. The storage compartment under the seat is ideal to store all your personal belongings. The controls can be adjusted to fit either left- or right-handed users.
