The IQ's app comes with advanced mapping and automation features however, it's not able to access no-go zones that are available on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing navigation system provides superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet mode is clean well, but it does have a tendency to get caught up on rug tassels. During our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors with no flooring and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. The iRobot, on the other hand feels more sturdy and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and incurs fewer cost per year, and can create virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can continue cleaning from the point it started, even if its battery runs out before it finishes. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice, which can be an advantage for many users.

The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn't exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum available however it offers powerful cleaning capabilities at an affordable price. In our tests, the eufy11S was extremely effective at removing larger debris and fine dust on hard flooring. However, it was unable to give high and medium pile carpets an effective deep clean. It also has a tendency to bump into furniture and people that are in its path however, it is able to detect obstacles with sensors. When it encounters them, it stops and lets out a loud sound so you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the eufy11S. It allows you to set the robot up to automatically adjust the suction strength based upon the floor type and the level of dirt. The remote control makes it simple to direct the 11S to the desired location.

Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the area you'd like to vacuum. The eufy is capable of spending up to 30 minutes cleaning the space it is assigned.
