iRobot Combo j7+

The arm comes with an 240mL tank that can be easily removed and filled, so it's easier to manage than the mop pads of many other 2-in-1 robots. It is equipped with iRobot PrevisionVision obstacle-avoidance technology that is more advanced than other systems similar to it.

iRobot Combo i5

This multitasker is designed to mop and vacuum with one machine. Its vacuuming is done with a specially designed bin that can hold up 60 days' worth of debris that iRobot claims can reduce the amount of dust released into the air during the process. The i5+ comes with dual multi-surface rubber brush and Power-Lifting suction that can tackle dust and dirt hair, pet hair, and staining. Simply swap the Mopping Bin with a compatible cleaning product and you're ready to mop.

The i5+ runs iRobot OS and gets smarter the more you use it. It will learn your floorplan, creating a Smart Map that remembers room names and your personal cleaning preferences. It can then be directed to clean a space or schedule a schedule for a complete area of your home using the iRobot app.

iRobot can recognize household clutter such as shoes, bags cords, toys, and even cords. It will then stop and return to the docking station, giving it time to recharge and complete the cleaning task at a later time. It is compatible with voice commands like Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri, and understands around 600 voice commands. This is more than any other 2-in-1 robot.

iRobot Combo j5

It is now possible to create no-go areas to prevent the vacuum from vacuuming the same areas again. The i3 Plus still has a bunch of other excellent features, including its advanced cleaning system with 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage process for cleaning. It also has a textured surface to protect against fingerprints, dust and pet hair.

It does well on plain floors and cleans most of the debris however, it was a bit difficult with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It does an excellent job with high pile carpets though and is quieter than its competitors. The i3 costs a bit more than the Roborock S4 Max, but it comes with a best self cleaning vacuum and mop-emptying mechanism that cleans the mop pads, and then refills the water reservoir.

With the i3 application, you can create schedules to clean at a time that suits your needs. You can also utilize your voice assistant to control your robot to start or stop the cleaning. It also tracks your home's unique layout to offer a customized cleaning routine and scheduling. It uses advanced mapping sensors to help you navigate hardwood and carpet flooring, and also learns how you clean to improve performance.

iRobot Combo i2

The Combo i2 is the latest robot vacuum and mop from iRobot. It is a combination of iRobot's intelligent floor cleaning technology to make it an excellent option for homes with hard floors as well as a few rugs or carpets. The Combo i2 has a combo system which allows it to switch between mopping or vacuuming at the touch of a button. It also features iRobot's advanced navigation technology. However you won't be able to view the inside of the compartment since it's constructed of opaque plastic. The i4 is also missing some features, like the AI-powered obstacle-avoidance and keep-out zones found on the j7 and j7+.

It does however have a powerful cleaning system and robotvacuummops a set of rubber brushes that don't get caught in pet hair. It's a great option for homes that have high-pile carpets as it can take on more dirt and debris than weaker vacuums. The i4 requires less maintenance, has lower recurring costs and can run longer in its lowest suction mode.
