The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for best robot vacuum and mop under $500 a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best vacuum mop combo for laminate floors time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test, yedam.designpixel.or.kr picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when not at home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
