How to Fix Car Ignition Problems

The car won't start unless the switch transmits an electrical signal to the starter. Normal wear and tear over time may result in the switch not functioning properly.

1. Make sure you check the Switch

A defective switch is among the most common ignition issues. It acts as bridge between two contacts, and controls the time when relays are activated and deactivated. A malfunctioning switch can be identified by a difficult time turning the key.
