The IQ XL is also equipped with a range of useful features, like the ability to remotely schedule whole-home cleans and review cleaning reports through the SharkClean app. You can also start, stop and resume cleaning sessions by speaking via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The row-by-row cleaning mode of the robot is a big plus as it cleans your entire home in neat rows, not the back-and-forth snake design of many other robots.

The IQ XL has a major drawback in that it cannot climb over obstacles like power cords. It may mistake them for solid barriers and therefore not try to climb over them. It's also less effective or quick in navigating a space if it's stuffed with pet hair. This can cause tangles to the brushes and slow it.

It is possible to schedule it to clean, turn on it at any time, or create virtual boundaries to stop the robot from entering rooms that contain delicate items or rugs.

The Shark AI Robot carries out a fairly thorough job of cleaning floors, picking up dirt like rice effortlessly.
