The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's items that need to be cleared out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line.
