The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your area to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. 2. Roborock Q Revo

It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and vacuum And mop Combo was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best smart vacuum and mop combo known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
