Slot missions are a great way to earn gear weapons, gear and much more. However, they can be difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring guns into a mission. Some players make use of it to attain certain goals, particularly those who want to achieve Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make an additional gap. When using this slot, it's important to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler to accomplish. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon for as long as it is slotted.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring in weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently designed to resemble the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices to weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can also be found any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects within scenery and objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players plan the ideal task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, leading to the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max to pick new equipment until the old items are removed or more space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed, it can take a long time to acquire the maximum number of inventory slots in the game.

Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear latest slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pick-ups can be useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk or if you have a weapon with you that could cause suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
