1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This wet-dry model is equipped with the company's upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that provides improved mapping and obstacles avoidance. The system is dual-laser LiDAR which is similar to what you'd find in self-driving cars and is able to scan an area of up to 32 feet in 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, faster response times, as well as better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with an alternating mopping mat made of chenille, making it easier to scrub hard spots than conventional mopping. During my tests, the X2 Omni washed its pad in just over a second and got to work. I noticed that it was more precise than other models which seemed to follow a grid around rooms. It was able to navigate around corners and edges of my rooms and also create "Zambani patterns" both in and out of the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station regularly to empty the dustbin and clean the mop using hot water before starting another cleaning job.

I was able dive into the settings and customize my floor plan within about 15 minutes, which included creating restricted areas to sweep and mop, reworking my wall-mounted furniture layouts, and much more. The X2 Omni impressed me during my tests. It scored high in the areas of pet hair removal and debris removal, and was near-perfect in its results for edge and crevices cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The ECOVACS T10 Omni is an extremely powerful mopping and vacuum machine. It is the most advanced of the T-line from the brand and features the OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system that utilizes a dual-spinning brush for superior cleaning than the traditional scrubbing. It also comes with YIKO built-in, a unique natural language processing technology that lets it respond to a variety of voice commands. You can use the ECOVACS app to map your home, set up cleaning schedules and adjust settings.

The biggest con with the T10 Omni is that it's not able to switch between mopping and vacuuming in a single run. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads to and from the vacuum depending on your requirements. This is great for the majority of households, but not so for those with busy lives.

The Deebot T10 Omni is a superb robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our tests on pet hair. It was able to remove more than 96% of the dust we threw at it on our hardwood floors which is an impressive performance. It did an excellent job on carpets and tiles cleaning up 99percent of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mop has a large docking system that allows for automatic cleaning with cool mop pads. It also comes with an auto-emptying 3L bag that is easy to replace and hot air drying for fast and simple maintenance. It also comes with a large tank of water that allows it to be washed and dried more often between mopping sessions.

The Deebot T10 comes with a wash tray that is built into its base, similar to other mopping robots. It makes use of the wash tray to rinse and dry the mop pads while it is using them. However, it doesn't come with an open tray, which means dirty water dust, dirt and other grime slowly build up on the bottom of the tray over time.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While the Anker-owned Eufy is well-known in the robot vacuum space This model is the first venture into the world of mopping. It has enhanced intelligence and support for multiple maps, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that automatically adjusts for the type of surface you're cleaning. It's a mid-range robotic cleaner that's attractive even if the claim of being a one-stop shop for floor cleaning doesn't come true.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a traditional robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular shape, sweeping wheels and a raised space for sensors. Turn it upside down, however, and you'll find an electric floor brush as well as a single side sweeper which pushes dirt from the edges into the main path of the robot's'mouth'. It's a bit smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9 which I found made it easier to reach under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system is reasonably sophisticated, allowing you to set no-mop zones and specific cleaning zones. It has a tendency of bumping into things such as its charging station, and isn't very good at navigating over carpets. It was effective in picking up pet hair from carpets. In our tests it was able to pick up 89.5% kitty litter.

Although it can be controlled via the app and the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with physical buttons on its base, which let you select a cleaning mode, and turn the robot on/off. These buttons can be used to create no-go areas and view real-time maps. It's a little chatty, too, and will let you know what it plans to do next ("start cleaning") or warn you that something is wrong (it doesn't have enough power to charge, for example).

This model of high-tech vacuum can remove pet hair, kibble, and other messes with remarkable effectiveness. It can also move effortlessly around furniture legs. It comes with a set of features that is impressive, which includes two cleaning modes as well as an automatic docking station and real-time obstacles avoidance technology. The A4s Pro is a bit expensive however it's a great buy for people who want to be able to leave the house with no hands on so they can do other things or do chores. The A4s Pro also offers a handy auto cleaning mode that boosts suction power to tackle difficult spills and dirt, and it includes a battery-powered ElectroWall that lets you place boundaries where the robot is not allowed to be allowed to enter.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular brand is the cheapest we've ever tested, and provides an outstanding value for the money. The basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm and it's not able to map rooms. This is why it's less effective than the other models on this list. It's still able to get under furniture and into corners. Mopping mode was very effective in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

5. Efficient Shark AI Robot Vacuum with Smart Mapping iQ

Shark's iQ may not appear as well-built however it is superior in cleaning pet hair off all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning low-pile carpet and floor surfaces that are bare. It also utilizes the smart-pathing software for better mobility. It also allows you to send it to a specific room, and its sophisticated suite of automation features includes no-go zones and scheduling. It can even stop and restart the cleaning process and is perfect for households with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll eliminates knots and holds up to 30 day's worth of dirt. It has a set angled side brushes to reach into corners and a multi-stage filter system that collects dust, allergens, and dander.

This vacuum feels solid and well-constructed, and it comes with an app for smartphones that lets you change its vacuum settings and schedule cleaning sessions ahead of time.
