The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup, you can start automated cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner Revolutionize cleaning with the iRobot Roomba j7+. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best wet dry robot vacuum known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
