Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great way to acquire weapons, gear and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that lets you bring pistols in to the course of. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. It is important to remember that to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider in use makes it much simpler. This combo will add a damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon for as long as it is slotted.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined opportunity. It's currently shaped like pistols, which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other Top Mobile slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold a large variety of items, ranging from small concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are hidden in places around the map. They can be picked up at any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that hide only small objects within scenery and objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in short-term missions that allow players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots with bonuses ahead of their entry into the map. These planning options increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to create the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will find their gear slots become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players an increase in inventory space to complete challenges missions. Since many of these challenges are overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to get the most slots for inventory in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your weapon or gear slots, and retrieve them later.

These pick-ups can be useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon with you that could cause suspicion. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, just talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker for your mission be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
