The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for robot vacuum and mop deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality amazon robot vacuum vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s shark ai ultra robot vacuum with self empty base

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum and mop robot vacuum that comes with a variety of features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
