The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top 10-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The irobot mopping and vacuum Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best affordable robot vacuum robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, top 10 produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, top 10 more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any quietest robot vacuum we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
