The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem if you want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's items that need to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, Dreame Robot Vacuum modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, Dreame Robot Vacuum best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can manage it even when away from home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop vacuum robot pads remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the Dreame Robot Vacuum vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
