Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to carry pistols into the course of. Some people make use of it to achieve certain achievements, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to fill in a gap. It's important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot, you need to click on the button to select the appropriate category, for example, machine guns in the alternate slot. Having Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also adds a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is in the slot.

Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled item slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring in weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined affordance. It's currently designed as an a gun, that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide variety of items - from concussion devices to explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items are hidden in places around the map. They can be picked up at anytime. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock various starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear casino slots prior to entering the map. These planning options increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the ideal mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They offer an increase in inventory space to complete challenging missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed it could take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot. You can get them back later.

These pickups can be very useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk or you carry a weapon with you that might otherwise raise suspicion. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions simply contact the agency receptionist and purchase armor and snacks. Then, walk to the mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
