Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It's important to note that to select the pistols in this slot, you need to click on the button for the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it much easier to use. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon as long as it is in the slot.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, however it could benefit from a more streamlined opportunity. It's currently shaped as a pistol that makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot can house many different items, from subtle concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items can be found in hidden locations around the map. They can also be found anytime. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option in the form of episodic missions. It lets players discover different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear high-Quality slots prior to entering the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for every task.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear modern slots are Full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or space is found. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenging missions. Because many of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it could take some time to obtain the most inventory multi-line slots in the game.

Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) can only use one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk in the course of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that would otherwise trigger suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
