The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This Industrial Robot Vacuum vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and industrial Robot vacuum vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when not home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and industrial robot Vacuum furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops also work well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
