Lightest Double Stroller

When searching for a lightweight double stroller, weight and folded dimensions are important factors to consider. When you are not using it, select one that is easy to handle and small in size. This will allow it to store it in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.

The most lightweight strollers have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanism to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Many also come with a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Designed for the family who are always on the move. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats can accommodate children up to 50 pounds. The trays for parents and children, large storage basket, and a three-tiered canopy that has a peekaboo window provide maximum sun protection.

The Cloud scored one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a weak, hard plastic seat and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter and is therefore not a good choice in the event you're looking for an economical option.

It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features to be worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs without much effort. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem but it's at knee height, and not adjustable. It's difficult to push when your legs are hanging in that way. The lack of padding makes it even more difficult.

In our tests during our testing, we found the Cloud to be simple to set up and open. Close it can be a bit more difficult. You must slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be quite a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while you do it.

The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. It's a bit narrow, though you'll probably need to leave something inside for the back to take it out. The Cloud comes with an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders. However, both are too narrow for larger bottles or cups.

Kolcraft is a family-owned business that has been in existence since 1946. Their first products were crib pads and diapers however, they now make a wide range of baby items including highchairs as well as strollers for infants, car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that's great for traveling. It's extremely light at 18lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also has independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors with windows that peek out and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors are adjustable to accommodate kids of different heights. It also has an integrated one-step parking brake and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also fantastic to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have an excellent neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light stroller that can be used side by side. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's narrower and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) and comes with a lot of luxurious details that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain twin buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have some key differences. It's also a little more expensive, but it has better maneuverability and has an extra sun canopy. It comes with a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate children who weigh up to 44 pounds per seat.

Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with a lot of features. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage space, including cup holders for the parent and child and a sippy-cup bag for the child, a parent's storage pocket and more. This stroller can also fit a child's car seat and comes with a brake that is easy to engage that can be used flip-flop. It's designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months of age and up.

Another thing to note about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have locking options which means it won't be the best choice for rocky or sloping terrain. It maneuvers well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces it's an excellent choice for the majority of families.

This is among the smallest and light double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it with just one hand and it's compact double buggy enough to store easily in your trunk or garage. It can also be used an infant stroller and is compatible with most car seats without the need for adapters.

The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is different from most strollers that are lightweight because it has two distinct seats that can each support up to 100 lbs. The seats each have a recline in multiple positions, individual leg rests, and 3-panel canopies that have flip-out sun visors and windows that can be seen from a distance.

The seats are padded to ensure your baby's comfort and come with a five-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three height positions. Each comes with an infant cushion, which is great for newborns. The cup holders for parents and child, the phone holders, and the huge storage basket will be loved by parents. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.

Joovy X2 Kooper

The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use double that can carry two kids. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and offer a similar amount of headroom. It also allows children to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is ideal for napping. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it doesn't really go flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging when in reclined positions. It also comes with a large canopy which we found to be better at blocking out the sun than other strollers in our top double strollers review.

The stroller is light enough to easily maneuver through door frames, which was a big issue for us with other strollers we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. Its only downside is its small storage space, which feels cramped when full of kid stuff.
