The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the charging base. It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something is in need of attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the amazon robot vacuum itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.
