The hood, for instance is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring manner. It is machine washable at 30deg which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It could also be converted into a stroller at 6 months by using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can choose the option they want to use on their journey. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket that can accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that move from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This might not be suitable for long journeys or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. But, it's lacking certain essential features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is advertised as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Although it is narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps well and slid through doors without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, although it seemed a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers that jog. However, they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to fold and fits in the car's boot even with a carrycot attached.

It is a bit heavier than other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of food. It can also be connected with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It's got a lot of standout features, such as the capacity of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside and a huge UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and foam-filled which minimises punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds in just four steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also be rolled and stood up for easier transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are easy to use using a single action color coded and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and comes with a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded with one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also extremely light and robust. The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also has a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or turn around and face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling rivalries over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a massive gear tray, bottle holder, snack trays and an adjustable mat. It also has an automated frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It's among the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also has great safety features, such as a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap.
