A tip: Prior to you add your grounds, you should pre-heat the press with some off the boiling water, because should the coffee come in contact with hot water too quickly it may over extract and produce undesirable elements in the cup.

Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate, and then softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa adds citrus notes to bring the balance. The result is a cup that can be enjoyed on its own or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It would complement lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee 1kg. Heating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. Once brewed leave to steep for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are fully saturated and coffeee not over extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger, but do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has an uplifting citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a smooth, caressing mouthfeel. The cocoa-like hints can be traced back to the winter days in the living room, reading a good book with the warmth of a hug from the family. Prepare your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This will prevent the coffee from being over extracted and causing undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
