Easy to install

The first step is to take off the original cover from your key. It must be removed before the new cover is installed.

After removing the cover You can then employ a flathead to remove the four major attachment clips from the passenger side of fob assembly. These are marked with red in the image below. Take note of the yellow tabs that must also be disengaged.

After taking the battery off, replace it with a new CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery corresponds to the opening in the fob and that the"-" negative side is facing toward the buttons made of rubber.

Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. Once you've done that then put the fob on the driver's side back into your vehicle and test it. Press the push button located on the back of the key. If everything works correctly your car will turn on the parking lights and the doors will lock automatically.
