It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in an aeroplane's overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all 4 wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to effortlessly traverse all terrains and types'.

It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to stroller at 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents seeking an adaptable stroller. The Evenflo Pivot can be converted from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then decide which one is the best fit for their journey. The wagon is able to accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a huge storage basket that will hold all your needs on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we have test. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition and it doesn't lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger sunshades.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. However, it's missing some essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to take baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted into a seat and carrycot by just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.

The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. The narrow pushchair sailed through every day bumps and doors easily.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position or rotate. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along a stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers for jogging. But they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to fold and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've tried, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be lowered to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extension. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a large number of parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has many standout features, like the ability of the seat to be turned between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. It was easy to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It also stands and can be carried by trolley for easier transport in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are one action and are colour coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is extremely easy to use and has an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also is equipped with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors, which can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face each other or can be turned around to face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a huge tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automated frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with excellent safety features such as five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also comes with an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type found on competing models.

The seat is well padded and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is smaller than that of other joggers (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin comes with an enclosed zipper to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds., which is sufficient for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them from the first day using adapters that work with brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and comes in a variety of languages.
