How to Change the Battery in Your Nissan Key Fobs

After you've finished, be sure to test your Intelligent Key fob with the doors shut. Step back a few feet from your Nissan and press the buttons on the fob. Remote Lockout

It's not uncommon for remotes for cars to stop working for one reason or another. Most of the time it's an issue with the battery, which you can replace yourself. You can also try to reset the system by pressing the lock or unlock button several times in succession. For instance, your vehicle's sensors can detect that your fob is inside the cabin or trunk of your vehicle. It will send a vibrating and an audio alert to your fob in order to let you can be sure you've left it inside the car.

Some models include a physical blade of a key that can be used in the event that your fob's battery fails or something else goes off the rails.
