The frame of the Xplore feels solid and pushchairsandprams sturdy, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competitors, and it does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and it can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as an adult cup holder. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our push and turn test it performed better than most of the other strollers that we tried, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together with an average manual and all of the components required tools. However, it's missing certain essential features that we believe you should not compromise on in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also rotate. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it handled this fairly well, although it seemed more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers that we tested, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or turn around and face the parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling fights over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a huge gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.
