Based on the bestselling A06 Freedom Chair, this heavy-duty model has been designed to accommodate users who weigh up to 25 stone/160kg. The chair is equipped with twin 300 watt motors that can take you to speeds of up to 4mph, with a a range of 9 miles on a single battery (a second battery can be added).

When not in use it is lightweight and compact. It is easy to move and store. It is ideal for those who travel via cruise ship, car or plane with their chairs as it easily fits into the cabin. It also comes with airline-approved lithium-ion batteries, as well as an adaptor cable to charge off-board.

The powerchair is controlled via an electronic joystick which is positioned on either armrest. It can be used either left- or right-handed. The foot plate can be raised to allow easy user transfers and the tyres are 12" all-terrain PU, so it is able to tackle more difficult terrain.

A handy under-seat bag as well as a fixed zippered pocket on the seat back provide ample space for storage of personal items. There are adjustable lap belts and electromagnetic brakes that increase the user's safety.

The Freedom A06L is more compact and more maneuverable than a mobility scooter which is why it can fit into tight spaces, such as elevators or shopping centers.
