The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month color pack form a stylish pushchair that's easy on the eye and has a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The frame's base weight is less than a kilo, and is so lightweight that you can lift it from the box using just one hand.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for an adaptable stroller. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then select the best mode for their adventure. The wagon is able to accommodate one or two children from 6 months to five years old. It has a huge storage basket that can accommodate all your necessities when you are on the move.

The Xplore also has two canopies that turn from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This might not be suitable for long journeys or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we test. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a second stroller that's affordable. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than the majority of other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through doorways that are narrow. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. However, it's missing some essential features that we believe you should not compromise on in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot with a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and reversible carriage.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction or pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. On our walk through the stony trail, we allowed them to swivel and it performed well, although it seemed slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers that jog. However, they also produce a wide selection of pushchairs with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a lot of parents when it first came out. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has many standout features, like the ability of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside and a huge UPF50+ canopy that has a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension that takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets with ease.

It folds in four simple steps and locks automatically without fuss. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system is included with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are a single action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is simple to use and comes with a fantastic dual suspension. It folds by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and robust. The seat is reclined in many positions and is equipped with a double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or can be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling rivalries over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has a superior compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It's among the lightest strollers you can get for your child. The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and infant car seats however, you can use them starting from the first day using adapters that work with brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's simple to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
