The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carriers. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its super nimble manoeuvrability and fold-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to 'perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a stylish pushchair with a delicate elegant look. The frame itself weighs less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to attach or remove adaptors or attachments such as the hood, for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 using reassuring clicks - as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to help deter stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It could also be converted into a stroller after 6 months with the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents looking for a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then choose which one is the best fit for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a huge storage basket that will hold all your necessities while on the go.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or naps.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons we have tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it's not able to lock tight once folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair and is marketed as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry babies from birth to approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It is really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the bumps of everyday life well and was able to pass through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or allow them to swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we let them swivel and it performed well, although it seemed slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain jogging strollers. But they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and fits in the boot of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other things.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller with you on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminium framed stroller that can see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. It's got a few distinctive features like the ability to flip the seat between parent and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets with ease.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be folded and repositioned for easy transport down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. The travel system is also offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use with single buggy for sale action, colour coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to operate and features a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't ideal it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also has great safety features, including the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that is a twist.

The seat is very comfortable and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's isn't as deep as those of other joggers (it's only about 10") The storage bin comes with an enclosed zipper to help keep items safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs., which is sufficient for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and infant car seats, but you can use them from the first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
