The arm comes with a 240mL tank, which can be easily removed and filled. This makes it easier to use than the mop pads found on other 2-in-1 robotic arms. It also uses the iRobot's PrevisionVision obstacle avoidance technology which is more sophisticated than some models of this kind.

iRobot Combo i5

This multitasker is designed to mop and vacuum with one machine. Its vacuuming is done with a specially designed bin that can hold up 60 days worth of debris, which iRobot claims reduces the amount of dust re-released into the air during the process. The iRobot Combo i3 has been upgraded from the original Roomba i3. It still comes with a HEPA-filter to eliminate allergens and has the same great external dust compartment, however it now supports smart mapping. It is now possible to create no-go areas to prevent the vacuum from cleaning the same areas repeatedly. It has a low-profile docking station that doesn't occupy much space. It also has an emptyable dirt compartment. However you won't be able to see inside the compartment because it's constructed of transparent plastic. The i4 is also missing some features, like the AI-powered obstacle-avoidance and keep-out zones that are found on the j7 and j7+.

However, it has a powerful cleaning system and two rubber brushes that aren't tangled up with pet hair. It's a great option for homes with high-pile carpets because it can handle more dirt and debris than less powerful vacuums. The i4 requires less maintenance and has lower costs for recurring maintenance, and runs longer in the lowest suction mode.
