If you're using a damp sweep pad the robot will move in a sweeping motion; if you're using a wet mopping pad it will make use of a more deliberate, back-and-forth scrubbing action.

The Robot Vacuum Mops did a great job at picking up dust, dirt and other particles on the tiled floors of a small apartment. It wasn't able to pick up everything however, it did a very nice job of removing the majority of the big, sticky mess. It did a good job of cleaning up water spills. However, it wasn't able to take away some of the more stubborn ones.

Its performance in navigating between rooms is less impressive. It can navigate through the room with ease but it isn't able to map out your home like other robots. The navigation is somewhat sloppy; we found it to bump into things quite often, including our foot and the cat.

The iRobot Braava Jet 240 is an excellent choice for a busy family that would like to keep their home looking great without spending a lot of time on it. It's not as flexible as our top picks, however it does a fantastic job of keeping the kitchen and bathroom looking their best.

iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 mopping robot is one of the most advanced robotic floor cleaners on the market. It can vacuum, sweep and mop floors on hard surfaces like wood, laminate, tile and carpets. Its battery life is long, which allows it to clean up to 1,000 square feet in one cleaning session. This makes it perfect for homes with larger areas.
