It uses dual-laser LiDAR similar to the kind you'll find in self-driving vehicles -- and can scan an area of up to 32 feet by 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, quicker response times, and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also has a rotating mopping mat made of chenille, making it much easier to scrub hard-to-clean spots than conventional mopping. In my testing, the X2 Omni took just over a minute to clean its pad and begin work, and I noticed that it was more precise than the previous models, which were able to follow a grid-like path around rooms. It was capable of navigating my room's with its corners and edges as well as make a "Zambani pattern" that ran up and down the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station frequently to empty the dust bin and clean the mop using hot water prior to beginning another clean-up job.

It comes with YIKO, a natural language processing technology that is the first of its kind. This allows it to respond to various voice commands. The biggest issue with the T10 Omni is that it cannot switch from mopping and vacuuming in a single run. The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off according to your needs. This is fine for most households, but not so for those with busy lives.

The Deebot T10 Omni is a fantastic robot vacuum and delivers impressive results in our pet hair tests. It was able to remove more than 96% of the debris from our hardwood flooring. This is an excellent performance. It did an excellent job on carpets and tiles cleaning up 99% of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mops has large docking systems that allows for automatic cleaning with cool mop pads. It also features an auto-emptying 3L bag that is easy to replace and hot air drying for fast and simple maintenance. It also has a large reservoir of water that allows it to be rinsed and dried more often between mopping sessions.

As with other mopping robots, the Deebot T10 Omni comes with a wash tray at its base that cleans and dries its mop pads as it utilizes them. It doesn't have a tray that can be removed, which means that dirt, dust and other grime will gradually build up in the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While the Anker-owned Eufy is well-known in the field of robot vacuums but this model is its first venture into the world of mopping. It is equipped with enhanced intelligence, multiple map support, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that adjusts automatically to the type of surface you're cleaning. It's a great mid-range robotic vacuum cleaner although it can't quite deliver on its promise to be an all-in-one solution for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a traditional robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular shape with sweeping wheels, as well as an elevated area for sensors. It had a bit of difficulties transitioning to rugs however, in general, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for rooms that have different flooring types and a variety of pets.

The A4s Pro is expensive but it's an excellent option for those who wish to be able to leave the house hands-free so they can do other things or do chores. The A4s Pro also offers a convenient auto cleaning mode that automatically boosts suction power to handle difficult spills and dirt, and comes with an electric ElectroWall that lets you define boundaries where the robot isn't permitted to enter.

This budget-friendly choice from a popular upstart brand is the cheapest robot we've tested yet and offers an outstanding value for cost. Its navigation system is based on a basic random pathing algorithm and it's not equipped to map rooms. This renders it less efficient than other models in this list. It's still able to get under furniture and into the corners. Its mopping mode performed well in our tests and picked up hairs that were straying and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ might not be as sturdy however it is superior in cleaning pet hair off all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as floors that are not covered.
