The ION Robot AV753 series

However, it lacks advanced mapping capabilities and room-recognition capabilities The 0.45-quart dustbin needs to be emptied frequently. If you are having trouble connecting your Shark robot with Wi-Fi, shut off the device for 10 seconds and then switch it back on. This will reset the connection to your router.

The ION Robot AV800 Series

The ION Robot has an excellent range of features for automation. The companion app lets users to remotely control the robot, change its power modes or schedule cleaning sessions or even return it to its charging dock. It also supports voice commands through Alexa and Google Home devices.

The assembly is easy. Simply snap the two side brushes into place and plug in. The compact design, ergonomic body, and small dustbin make it simple to transport and store.

It is more robust, has fewer parts that require regular maintenance, has lower costs for recurring maintenance and is charged faster. It also performs better on any surface, and comes with physical boundary strips. It's also more maneuverable and has longer battery life. It's more expensive, though.

The ION Robot AV1000 Series

The Shark ION Robot is one of the best robot vacuums available on market. It's efficient and cleans well on a variety of surfaces, and is able to avoid obstacles well. It has a handy application that allows you to operate it from anywhere using wifi (or any device that connects to the internet). The only issue is that the robot could be a bit slow to get to dirt areas and can be bouncing around in places that don't have dirt visible. This can be annoying for Monica Gellar type people! It's simple to set up schedules, and the dust bin gets cleaned quickly. The app is available for iPhone and Android. For those who don't want to use the application, there are buttons on top of the unit.

This Shark robot vacuum is well-made and effectively removes debris from most surfaces, and has a long battery life. It's not able to handle pet hair or other difficult debris, and its automated features are not very advanced.

It employs random navigation to move about its coverage area, which may result in it missing spots or go over them several times. It can also get stuck on rug tassels and struggle to climb the stairs.

The ION application has basic functions like scheduling and setting power modes, but the interface can be frustrating to use when inputs don't always register and a convoluted menu structure. The Shark AI Ultra Robot, for instance, has boundary maker and coverage map features. This isn't available on lower-end models. It's also important to keep track of recurring costs like changing the pre-motor filter as well as brushroll.

It also comes with a larger suite of automation features and a bigger dustbin.
