1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This wet/dry model comes with the upgraded AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system from Ecovacs, which provides improved mapping and obstruction avoidance. The system uses dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan up to 32 feet by 360 degrees. This translates to more precise mapping, quicker response times, and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also has a rotating mopping pad made of chenille, which makes it easier to scrub tough spots unlike traditional mopping. During my tests it was able to clean the X2 Omni washed its pad in just a few seconds and was ready to go. I noticed that it was more precise than other models that seemed to follow a grid around rooms. It was capable of navigating my room's by the corners and edges and also create a "Zambani pattern" up and down the center of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station regularly to empty the trash bin and clean the mop using hot water prior to starting another task of cleaning.

The Deebot T10 is an excellent robot vacuum that gives impressive results. It was able to remove more than 96% of debris from our hardwood floors. This is a fantastic performance. It also did an excellent job on tile and carpet and tile, getting rid of more than 90% of dirt and debris.

This robotic mop and vacuum comes with an enormous docking station which offers cool water cleaning for the mop pads, automatic emptying into a 3L bag that is easy to replace, and hot-air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that permits frequent washing and drying between mopping runs.

As with other mopping robots such as the Deebot T10, this one comes with a wash tray at its base that rinses and dry its mop pads as it utilizes them. It doesn't have a removable tray so dust, dirt and other grime can slowly build up in the bottom.

This robot did well during our tests on hardwood floors and food particles. It picked up everything, from a single rice grain to multiple dog food pieces, with just one pass. It had some difficulty transitioning to carpets, however, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large spaces with flooring of all kinds and a mix of pets.

The A4s Pro is expensive, but it's a great purchase for those who want to be able to leave the house with no hands on so they can do other things or perform household chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning mode that increases suction to get rid of difficult dirt or spills. It also includes a battery-powered ElectroWall to define the boundaries of the robot.

This budget-friendly choice from a well-known brand is the cheapest model we've ever tested and provides an incredible value for money. Its navigation system is based on a basic random pathing algorithm and it's not equipped to map rooms. This makes it less efficient as other models on this list. However, it's still able to get under furniture and into corners and its mopping mode performed well during our tests it picked up pet hair and other debris effortlessly.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not be as well-built as the Roomba S9, but it does a better job overall in getting rid of pet hair from all surfaces. It cleans floors that are bare more thoroughly and does a fair job on carpets with a low pile, and it uses smart-pathing navigational technology for greater maneuverability. It can be sent to a particular area and has a suite of advanced automation features, including no-go zones and schedules. It even lets you stop and restart a cleaning session which is ideal for homes with pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll prevents the tangles caused by pet hair and other debris and its bagless self-emptying docking station can hold up to 30 days worth of dirt before needing to be emptied. It also has a set of angled side brushes that penetrate into corners and its multi-stage filter system is able to capture dust, dander and allergens for a cleaner air.

The iQ robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair vacuum is well-built and feels solid. It works with an app on your smartphone that allows you to change the vacuum's settings and schedule cleaning times ahead of time. The app also allows you to view the remaining battery life and receive push notifications about any issues it encounters during a cleaning session. You can utilize your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device or, if you do not have either of these options, you can mark areas with physical boundary marker strips.

The iQ is good for cleaning floors that aren't clean, and is able to do an adequate job with carpets with low pile and shaggy edges. However it's not able to provide the same level of autonomy as our top picks. It's also expensive and the cost of recurring use can add up.
