The Shark app allows you to schedule your entire home cleaning from anywhere and provides helpful reports. The app also lets you to set preferences as well as no-go zones.

The status of the robot is displayed on the companion app and lights at the top indicate the amount of charge. If both lights are green the robot is fully charged. If one light goes off, and the other becomes red, it's running out of energy.

The app is simple to use and gives you complete control over the robot's settings. You can alter its power modes, get push notifications, create a cleaning schedule, and see the history of your robot. It's compatible with both Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can use voice commands to control the robot. It also feels better-built, has longer battery life, and is able to pay lower recurring expenses.

AI Robot

The AI Robot is a 2-in-1 robot that is affordable and has excellent maneuverability. It also comes with smart features, making it a good choice for small homes. It is quick and efficient on all floor types and rarely gets stuck and has a huge dust bin in its base station that requires emptying every 45 days. It also comes with the ability to define boundaries for it, so it doesn't accidentally go into rooms or around objects that you do not want to touch.

The only downsides to the AI Robot are that it's less reliable than my top overall robot vacuum (the Roborock Q5 which is a shrewdly reliable model+) and it is a little less effective on carpets with high pile. It's also louder and can have difficulty cleaning up debris that has fallen between wood planks or tiles. It still has many of the features I'm looking for in a robotic vacuum such as the capability to empty itself and is less expensive than the iRobot Roomba 981.

This robot is smart and does a great job cleaning all surfaces. However, it's not as strong on carpets with a high pile. It is great on bare floors and its sensor system enables it to easily climb over electrical cords and rug tassels without getting stuck. It's also among the few robots to have self-emptying docks that greatly reduces the need for hands-on maintenance tasks and recurring costs.

The AI Robot, like the EZ Robot Self Empty and Matrix Robot is compatible with Alexa or Google Home devices so you can control with voice commands. It's also compatible with iCloud which means you can sync it to your iPhone or iPad and make use of the SharkClean app to control it from anywhere.

The app comes with a variety of features, but at times, the interface can feel a bit cumbersome. You can schedule, create virtual boundaries and track the health and charge status of your robot. You can also set reminders for cleaning time and much more. You can also use the app to connect your smartphone to the robot and allow you to control it from any area of your home and manage its smart functions via the Wi-Fi connection of your phone or tablet.
