The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of the button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum mop combo vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the tesvor robot vacuum and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops also work well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
