This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored high in our single strollers that connect & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels, as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other things.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are showerproof and sturdy unlike other prams' hoods that are turned back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately).
