Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has pulled out of the planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot. The company said that the deal faced "undue regulatory hurdles." The company will pay iRobot an breakup fee of $94 million.

The move came after the European Commission, the EU's executive arm and its top antitrust enforcer, said it had a "preliminary view" that the acquisition would affect competition.
