How a Jaguar Smart Key Works

Jaguar smart key lets you to lock and unlock the vehicle from a distance. Like all electronic devices, it's powered by a battery.

Your car could show an increase in the signal range if your Smart Key battery begins to run out. The message center might also display the message "SMART KEY BATTERY LOW".

Keyless Entry

If the battery in the Smart Key fob is low you will hear an alert and you will see "SMART KEY Battery Low" displayed in the center of the display.
