The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Robot Vacuum And Mop Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, Roborock robot vacuum and mop requiring only minimal user involvement. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
