This is also the principle behind levers found in many everyday tools, such as crowbars and fishing rods, claws for hammers, and even your legs when you sit on the hand brakes of your car.

Lever pad handles, also known as upvc door handles, have levers on each side to operate the multipoint locks. These come in many variations and finishes and can be used with a variety of materials like UPVC, Aluminium & Timber doors. They are sold in pairs for the inner and exterior door with screws and spindles included. They are also available in both handed and unhanded versions for different types of users.

They are commonly used in new constructions and are used to replace the existing doors made of upvc. They are typically operated by lifting the levers, which throw out all of the multipoint locks, and turning the key to close and unlock. They offer a little more security than the standard lever handles for doors because locking can only be done from the inside using keys.

This handle is designed to be used with uPVC multipoint locks that use a split spindle mechanism. This type of operation requires that the lever handle and the external pad handle are both fitted to the same lock case.
