MadeForMums tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and we had the chance to take it out with one of Australia's best all terrain Prams middle distance runners, Genevieve Gregson who recently became a mum. We asked her what she thought of the pram and if there was anything that could be improved.

The front swivel is unmatched in its maneuverability in tight city corners, and the air-filled tires offer comfortable cushioning while strolling through the city or on nature walks. The swivel can be locked for additional stability when in rough terrain or while running. The fully reclining seat has an ergonomic lie-flat position that is suitable for babies from birth. The strap that is one-pull makes it easier to access and exit the seat, while the compact folding design makes it easy for storage or transport. Wheels can be easily removed to make an even smaller fold. It's unfortunate that the brake lever is on the right-hand side of the handlebar since this makes it difficult to operate using just one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

The Out Nipper V5 lets you to take your baby for a smooth jog or off-road strolls in complete comfort. The user's manual is clear and easy to read. The only criticisms are that the hoods are loud and clunky, and that the Velcro used to close them could make your baby scream. This is a concern especially if you're walking through a park at night and you don't want other parents be disturbed. The absence of a storage area under the seats was noted as a drawback.

There's a tonne of other features too such as smart lighting that changes colour to show when your child is tired or hungry. There's a ventilation opening to keep your little one cool and there's even an extra large hood that has mosquito-proofing.

It's not cheap and you might struggle to find a lower price when you plan to use it from birth. It is also quite heavy, so you may require help to lift it into your car. The other thing is that there are some small honeycomb-like exposed areas at the bottom of the seat where the vomit and spilled smoothies could move - you'll need to be careful about this if your child is prone to illness.
