All terrain prams are pushchairs that can be used on rough terrains like cobblestones, woodland paths and fields that are muddy. They are made of large rubber all terrain 4 wheel pram-terrain tyres in contrast to standard pushchairs, which use tyres filled with air.

It also comes with a hood and air vent to keep baby cosy throughout the year.

2. Cybex Avi

The Cybex Avi is a specialist running stroller designed to allow you and your baby to run in a comfortable way. It is lightweight, easy to steer and features a unique frontwheel that can be locked. It is also suitable to be used with any Cybex or gb infant car seats using the adapters available.

Avi is also available in "One Box", which includes the frame and seat pack and also the canopy, all in one box. It is easy to assemble, saving you time and money.

This is the ideal choice for parents who love running and are looking to keep their children active. It was designed to run with children from birth and can be used with any Cybex or gb car seat. It comes with simple and quick one-pull mechanism for tightening the harness.

It's sleek and stylish and has air-filled tires. It also comes with an adjustable, soft sports seat for your child. It features reflective details to increase visibility, and an large sun canopy with UPF protection of 50+.

It is not recommended to use it on hard or rocky terrains, and there's no reclined position for infants. It is only suitable for walking, not jogging or even running.

We asked her to test the Cybex Avi running stroller through its paces, and this is what she was able to say:

3. BOB Sport Utility

BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for adventures outdoors off the beaten path. It has a fixed front wheel for added stability when jogging or hiking, pneumatic knobby tires on high-impact polymer wheels, and hand brakes for more downhill control. It also features an easy two-step folding system that makes it easy to carry and store. The baby jogger comes with an adjustable handlebar that can be adjusted to fit parents of all sizes as well as a large canopy with an open window so you can keep an eye on your child. You can also pair it with a car seat for your infant to make the ultimate travel system.

The BOB Sport Utility's only disadvantage is its lack of maneuverability. It was rated with an overall score of 6 out of 10. It can be difficult to turn in tight areas, like stores and cafes, since it requires you to tip it back. The stroller is easy to push on flat surfaces due to its superior rolling and adjustable track.

The best stroller for rough terrain has brakes with a single action that are comfortable and foot friendly. The stroller also has a deceleration brake that lets you to easily slow down when running, and relieves the pressure on your feet. The only downside to this feature is that you have remove the brake lever to activate it which can be a hassle while you're out on a run or in hurry.

BOB has adapters for accessories which allow you to use a variety infant car seats with the stroller. This is a great option if you have multiple children. It took us 5:24 minutes to completely assemble the BOB Sport Utility from unpacking to ready to go.

4. Cybex Aton

Cybex is known for making seats that are high quality and come with easy-to-use features. This seat is not an exception. It is our top infant car seat. This is mostly due to its design and the fact that it is compatible with most Cybex strollers, and a few from other brands too for the Travel System. The seat also comes with great safety features.

In our infant Car Seats tests The Cybex Aton scores above average in both forward-facing and rear-facing installation and ease of use. It has a headrest that adjusts to 11 different positions of height and a no-rethread strap system to make it easier to adjust the straps as your child grows. Cybex seats also feature a load leg on the base to prevent the chance of a crash to rotate and an anti-rebound feature to keep your child in the center of the seat.

The Aton is iSize certified from birth and can be used with the Cybex Base M isofix base to provide an additional level of security. It also comes with an innovative linear side-impact defense that redirects and absorbs forces of a collision. Unfortunately, the Aton's narrow shell may not work with small cars, in the same way as other models. And its canopy is small and does not have a peek-a-boo window.

Another issue is the cost. It's a costly seat and that's not even taking into account the fact that it performed better than most others in our tests. There are plenty of other great seats available at lower prices.
