The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them using a pure clean robot vacuum cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. Although these features are nice to have, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror-plated silver elements.
