iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

This robot vacuum is not scared to take on the stairs, unlike some other models. However, like any other mop or vacuum it could get blocked by loose tennis shoes ribbons, beads, yarn, play jewelry or other loose objects.

You can use the iRobot Home app to label rooms and set up zones that are not allowed to enter. You can also monitor the performance of your mops as well as their battery status.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo j7+ is a robot vacuum and Cheap robot vacuum mop that combine the smart mapping capabilities of iRobot and its ability to handle spills. The robot backed off when it encountered a rug and didn't try to go over it, even when I moved the rug several times.

The arm is equipped with a 240mL tank, which can be easily removed and refilled. This makes it easier to use than the mop pads on many other 2-in-1 robotic arm. It utilizes iRobot PrevisionVision obstacle-avoidance technology that is more advanced than other systems of this type.

iRobot Combo i5

Designed for mopping and vacuuming in the same machine it is a great choice for multitaskers. The mopping is accomplished with a specialised bin which can accommodate up to 60 days worth of debris. According to iRobot it reduces dust that is released into the air. The i5+ also comes with dual multi-surface rubber brush heads and Power-Lifting Suction to tackle dirt, dust pet hair and dirt on hard floors. Simply replace the Mopping Bin with a compatible cleaning product and you're set to mop.

The i5+ runs iRobot OS and becomes smarter the more you use it. It creates a Smart Map, which remembers the names of rooms and your preferences for cleaning. It can then be directed to clean your room or set a schedule for a complete section of your home with the iRobot app.

iRobot has integrated the ability to recognize household clutter, such as cords shoes, toys, and bags. It will then automatically stop and return to the docking station, giving it to recharge and finish the cleaning task later. It is also compatible with voice commands such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant, understanding around 600 voice commands, which is more than any other 2-in-1 robot.

iRobot Combo j5

This robot vacuum and mop from iRobot is a good choice for homes with both carpets and hard floors. It uses smart mapping and avoids obstacles to efficiently clean. It also offers multiple mopping modes, including a powerful SmartScrub feature which helps remove tough staining. In addition, it has the ability to create No Mop Zones to ensure that carpets aren't being sucked up, and the dock automatically replenishes the mopping solution. The price is higher than the previous Roomba Combo j7+, however it has more features.

Its patent-pending Mopping Drive System applies a pressure to the floor, allowing a deeper clean. It also gets rid of tough staining. The iRobot Combo i3 has been upgraded from the original Roomba i3. It still has a HEPA-filter to remove allergens, and the same fantastic dust compartment that is outside, but it now supports smart mapping. You can now designate no-go zones to stop the vacuum from cleaning these areas again. The i3 Plus still has a bunch of other excellent features, including its advanced cleaning system with 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage cleaning process. It also has a textured surface to keep away fingerprints, dust and hairs of pets.

It removes most dirt and is great on bare flooring, but had problems with pet hair on low-pile carpets. It does a fantastic job with high pile carpets though and is quieter than the other models. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max, but it has a self-emptying system that cleans the mop pads, and then refills the reservoir of water.

With the i3 application, you can create schedules for cleaning at a specific time to suit your requirements. You can also use your voice assistant to control your robot and start or stop the cleaning. It also tracks your home's unique layout and give you a personalized cleaning routine and scheduling. It utilizes advanced mapping sensors to guide you through hardwood and carpet floors, and learns how you clean to improve performance.

iRobot Combo i2

The Combo i2 robot vacuum and mop is the latest product from iRobot. It combines iRobot’s smart floor cleaning technology to make it a perfect option for homes with hard flooring and carpets or rugs. It does however have an effective cleaning system and a pair of rubber brushes that don't get stuck in pet hair. It's a great choice for homes that have high-pile carpets since it is able to handle more dirt and debris than weaker vacuums. The i4 requires less maintenance, has lower recurring costs and can run longer in the lowest suction mode.
