What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Costs

Upgrades are accompanied by certain costs associated with them. The first cost is the upgrade itself. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important stats. In certain cases, an upgrade items can grant additional benefits. These perks are offered in a list.

Rarely, the new perks obtained will cost more than one perk slot; in these situations, the upgrade will only replace the highest-cost perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, for example, changing the type of weapon damage or or removing an unwieldy or operative property. The cost for these changes is determined by the new ilvl of the item upgrader mod, and it may require a special material like an adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

Item upgrades are based on an opportunity, and like any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't succeed. There are a few ways to increase the chances of success. This includes using an item known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of additional materials to the upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is a product you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade succeeding by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus that some items come with, but is more solid. It can be added to any armor or weapon and is able to be used up to three times.

You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.

A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item is useful if you have an item or weapon equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. It will let you upgrade that piece of gear to the next level without worrying about it breaking.

If an upgrade fails the system will be restored to its initial state. This is typically an upgrade, but it could also be an upgrade. Save an upgrade until you reach the maximum level for an item.

Kafra has a number of items that can be used in order to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding.
